Welcome, my name is Dr. Dan Whitman. I am an engineer by formal education and work full time as an electrical and software engineer. I discovered a love for pure mathematics during my doctorate studies in electrical engineering, so now I self-study pure mathematics as a hobby.
The goal of this site is to provide resources for those studying mathematics, both formally and self-studying. In addition to sharing the self-study plan that I am following, I also share the solutions manuals that I use and write as I work exercises in the texts. The site also has a blog, though I don’t intend to make posts on any kind of regular basis, only when there are topics I really want to discuss.
