Pure Math Hiatus

Posted on January 27, 2020 by Dan Whitman

Unfortunately I am having to take a hiatus from studying pure math. The reason for this is that I need to focus on completing my PhD dissertation in Electrical Engineering. This saddens me because I most certainly enjoy studying pure math more than my formal school work, though I do enjoy that as well. However, in the long run I am very close to finishing my degree and have made the decision to focus on that so that, when completed, I can devote my energies towards my real passion without having my dissertation hanging over my head. This is the reason why there have been no updates to my solutions manuals in some time.

My goal is to complete and defend the dissertation sometime in the summer of 2020, but whether I will end up meeting this goal I do not yet know. In the meantime good luck in your studies and I will be sure to post when I am able to resume and start making more progress on the solutions manuals.
